Tips for vaping in the coldAlthough there is a lot of criticism for cigarettes all around the world about how harmful they are to the smoker and people around him/her, but there is one thing that you cannot blame cigarettes for. You cannot say that cigarettes are difficult to smoke. All you need to do to smoke a cigarette is to light it and inhale. No worries about getting an e-liquid or charging your device or setting the voltage or worrying about leaking. It is all just very simple.

But, Vapes are not Really That Complex, are they?

People who regularly vape will tell you vapes are not really that complex. That is large because they have already learnt all the tricks of the trade and need no help to understand their device. However, if you hand a vape kit to someone who has never vaped before, you will see how difficult it actually is to operate a vape for the first time. In fact, this is one of the most important reasons that smokers do not shift to vapes and keep smoking is that they feel vapes are too complex for them.

Winters!

If you need an accurate representation of what I mean when I say that vapes are not as simple as regular users believe, try looking at vapers adjusting in the winters. You see, in addition to all those complex temperature controls and resistance measurements, vape devices face certain limitations in the winter seasons that make vaping difficult. Some of these problems and tips to control these problems are here:

Battery and Flavor:

Vaping in winters is especially difficult because vape kits take a serious hit in vape battery timings when it comes to winters. In fact, you might even see a cut down on battery of as much as 50% when it comes to winters and this gets really frustrating especially when you are out and have no charging options available. Moreover, this might also translate into a deterioration of batteries because you have to charge them over and over again.

The flavor, on the other hand, tends to get denser in the cold. Although it will not freeze entirely since its freezing point is much below that of liquid, it does get clumpy which makes wicking very difficult.

The solutions to both of these problems are to make sure that your vape device stays as warm as possible. For this, you should try to keep it in your pockets and keep it out of direct cold as much as possible. You can try carrying an extra battery to get increased backup too.

Lips:

Winters are already not good enough for winters because they may result in cracked and dry lips. On top of that vaping means that they come in contact with cold metallic tip which further harms your lips. Metallic drips also tend to stick to your lips given the cold temperature. It is therefore always advised that you replace your metallic tip with a plastic one when winters come.
